The Attitude of Gratitude

Did you know that one of the best ways to manifest your true desires is to adopt an attitude of gratitude? To be thankful for all the good things you have in life?

By saying thank you for the good things you have you are saying to the universe that you are ready for more things to be grateful for.

I'll tell you what I'm grateful for today.

I told you about our new friends Jaie and Lolita just a couple of days ago and about their blog Lifeseeds. Well, it appears that just telling you about their blog was an act in itself worthy of thanks and boy do those girls know how to give thanks. Both my wife and I were so incredibly touched by their words, the kindness of their words, the sincerity of their words and their blessing of us both that we were moved to tears.

To Jaie and Lolita I say a universal strength thank you and I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow night. To everyone else I say adopt an attitude of gratitude, for everything - you just never know when it might lift you or inspire you on the receiving end.

Oprah and The Secret - UPDATE!

Apparently the airing of the Oprah show featuring The Secret movie and several of The Secret teachers, is being delayed.

James Ray - one of the guests - has this update posted on his website:

Oprah has invited Rhonda Byrne, the producer of The Secret, to be on the show, along with four of The Secret's teachers: Dr. Michael Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Lisa Nichols and yours truly.

UPDATE: Oprah decided it would be best to tape and edit the show instead of broadcasting live. She wants to make sure the show provides the most impact that it can. I won't know the air date until a few days after the taping (January 31st), but I'll be sure to keep you updated as soon as I know.

Please pass this message along... I will keep you updated as I learn more.

What do you Dream?

I was reading some emails from Linda's Million Dollar Manifesting Circle just yesterday and something that was said struck me as so incredibly pertinent as to not be ignored.

Again like most of my posts you'll notice that I've heard these things before but only recently starting paying attention to them and their meanings, importance or significance. This is another example of that.

You'll also know that I'm very keen on the phrase "do what you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life again" - that phrase is based on the premise that if you can truly do what you love to do and find a way to get paid to do it that it will never feel like work again. Now you'll find that you have a created a lifestyle and an income that pays you to do exactly what you want to do.

But back to where I started. I even asked my wife this question last night and the answer is not easy. Here's the question:

What one great thing would you dare to dream if you knew you could not fail?

I do not hesitate to suggest that in the answer to this question lies the answer to your own life's calling.

Visualization Visualisation - 2 spellings, one outcome

You've heard about visualization right? Your sports coach told you about it when he said picture yourself running further, faster or jumping higher, quicker or throwing further. It is the art of creating images of desire within your minds eye and then making your body achieve the object of those desires.

To be honest I've known about it since I was a young boy just starting out for my boy scouts athletic badge. My Dad told me the secret of visualization but I just never fully applied it. The same is true for ever other time I've heard about it. Passing my driving test, selling successfully, even dating, amongst others. But now is different.

Now not only do I know about it and can use it. I can give you an example of how to practice it yourself. Do the following.

1 - Stand upright, with your feet a comfortable distance apart and look forward.
2 - Now raise 1 arm so that it is parallel to the floor and pointing out in front of you.
3 - With your arm outstretched and your feet anchored to the floor, turn your body (if using your right arm, turn around right, left arm, left turn) slowly and focus on the farthest point you can see where you hand is pointing. Only look at where your hand is but really try to go far.
4 - Then return to face front, arms down.
5 - Close your eyes, breathe in and out calmly and in your mind see yourself reaching further. Imagine a point some way beyond where you previously and physically were able to reach. Think about that for 10-15 seconds, that's all. A tiny fraction of time.
6 - Finally repeat the first 3 steps.

You will find yourself achieving something quite amazing. Really amazing.

The reason this works is because our brains can barely distinguish between real and imagined events. Scientists have performed thousands of tests on subjects who were measured while performing a task and then measured while imagining the same task and the areas of the brain that are used are the same. Identical.

So you see whether you believe in the law of attraction or something of a more earthbound nature the facts are undeniable. You can think yourself to anything you want, with visualization.

Try out the experiment above, you'll see for yourself. Now imagine what you can achieve for your own goals of health, wealth and happiness just with visualisation.

Energy, Abundance and Faith

Last week was a fantastic week. Not just good or super good, but truly fantastic. As a result I feel like I am walking on clouds, am so supercharged I can achieve anything and I look forward to every new day with the excitement of a child on Christmas Eve. Really a fantastic week.

Sunday was really a rest day but I saw my football (soccer) Arsenal team win against our perennial rivals Manchester United in the morning, watched the Chicago Bears win a play off game against the Saints. This is important because at the beginning of the season we and a group of friends all picked a Superbowl team, my wife picked Da Bears. Then, that evening we had dinner with our good friends and real estate partners J & A. It was this couple that really turned us onto the law of attraction, so that was a super night spent mixing with likeminds and sharing conversation, the kind that just powers you up to a new vibrational level.

Monday and Tuesday saw us progress, nay, leap further forward with a couple of real estate investment transactions we are working on and then Wednesday was Cashflow Club night. Our little club has grown to a mailing list of over 70 and regularly sees more and more people coming out each week and better still, returning for following weeks games. Not only did I meet Jaie and Lolita who run Lifeseeds that I featured yesterday but also got talking to a writer about getting together to write a book, not just a "what to do" guide but a true "how to do" type book. It's ideas and concepts for now but I believe that it has merit enough to be written and you may have noticed that my writing style is less than elegant so I'm grateful to have manifested a real writer in my midst.

Thursday was about as motivational as it gets. Here in Atlanta we were lucky enough to have the Get Motivated seminar in town, and thanks to some other friends we were gifted some tickets. So my wife and I went and the day just flew by. We saw, listened to, heard and were inspired by the following: Michael Eisner, Zig Ziglar, Rudy Giuliani, John Shmoltz, Peter Lowe, Tom Hopkins, Larry King and Colin Powell. It was just an amazing day. My thanks to Pat and Jackie for their kind gift. I know I owe you.

Friday just saw it all come together. A great day of work and more substantial progress with a number of other projects we have going on. Most importantly of all - My wife and I were able to do all of these things together. Everything, with barely a moment apart, and that feeling of her company is a feeling I love. It's very important that even though we keep our eye on our financial goals we do not lose sight of our other goals, Health and Happiness.

This is exactly the kind of week that should and can be repeated. I will remember the amazing high I feel right now and remind myself of it should my head drop and life start getting in the way :-)

I will remind myself that this level of energy is sustainable, that I should not give up. That there is abundance of everything in the universe. Everything. If I want it I can have it, and so can everyone. It is abundant. You can have what ever you desire. Remember that.

One last memory, is that everyone to a man on Thursday spoke about their faith. If not religion, then an unquestionable belief in an omnipotent power. I have that too and so it appears does everyone I have written about in this post today.

With them in my life and my thoughts I will always have all the energy I need and all the faith I need to benefit from the universes abundance of everything.

God Doesn't Say No - YOU Do

I have written about this topic in the past but here's one of the globally recognised experts and star of The Secret talking about how to use the Law of Attraction by just immersing yourself in your belief of it.

There are a couple of things you've probably heard said over and over. The first is, "Why doesn't God answer my prayers?". What you'll generally hear next is the response which goes something like, "God DOES answer your prayers. Sometimes he just says 'No'".

The fact is, it's not God who says "No". In fact, God - the infinite source of "All that Is", ONLY says "Yes"! God is the ultimate "creation" mechanism. God responds PRECISELY to YOUR creative catalyst.

So you say, "Well, I've been asking God for money, but he hasn't given it to me.". The answer lies in HOW you are asking! Remember that God - the Universe - responds in a very precise way! It's a matter of Quantum Physics! If your prayer goes something like, "Dear God. I'm in trouble. I have no money. I can't pay any of the bills. I need money!", then THAT is what will be real for you. You WILL be in trouble. You WILL have no money! You WON'T be able to pay the bills, and you WILL NEED MONEY.

The Universe feeds back to you what you give it - and in fact, amplifies it!

If who you are "being" is a person with what we'll call "lack consciousness", then LACK will be your reality!

Every thought you have about "not having" will be mirrored in your experience of reality. Do you desire wealth? Then BE wealthy first, and the Universe will respond.

The fact is, we are here for the express purpose of creating our realities and living incredible lives. We are the manifestation of God's experience in the physical. God does not desire for us to live in lack, and in fact strongly desires that we have everything we desire. It is WHY we have desires in the first place! We are not only meant to have our desires realized, but we have the ability to have them manifest in our lives WHENEVER we want!

However, our egos and limiting belief systems have distorted our power. We have made ourselves "small". We have created thoughts about wealth and prosperity that make them inaccessible to us. Yet they are RIGHT THERE...waiting for us to experience them.

God does not say, "No, you may not experience wealth." God says, "YES! EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING!". However the "mechanics" of reality creation require you to BELIEVE that you already have the things you desire. That's why it's so easy for so many people to experience "lack". It's easier for them to believe that they "can't have something" than it is for them to have everything they want because they have all this external "evidence". The fact is, however, that it is just as "easy" to have either one. It is simply a matter of your belief.

Your current experience is the PERFECT manifestation of your current belief system. It is the EFFECT, not the cause. YOU are the cause your experience. When you can integrate that, you can begin to create consciously from the inside out (which is the only way you CAN create). You can break out of the "loop" which has you believing that your external circumstances are causing your experience.

You must understand that whatever your experience is right now, it is God (the Universe, All that Is) saying "YES" to whoever it is you are being, thinking, speaking, and acting.

To create consciously you MUST "be", "think", "speak", and "act" that your desires are already fulfilled - and they shall be. To the extent that you do these things, you will experience the "yes" that you REALLY desire from God much more quickly.

Practice Receiving

My wife and I were at some friends for dinner last night and a great conversation kicked off about the law of attraction. In fact, with these friends that's not uncommon, we talk about it all the time, but this particular conversation was about receiving, in particular.

The law of attraction states that you just have to ask, with a focus on why you want what you are asking for and it will be yours. Well that is true, but you still have to be ready to receive what you asked for and I mean ready.

We know that the universe does not simply put $1,000,000 under your pillow just because you asked for it...(although that can happen if we truly believed it could but that's a topic for another post)...but rather the universe would align to facilitate opportunities for you to make or earn $1,000,000. You have to be able to identify and take advantage of those same opportunities. More importantly you have to practice receiving. Everything.

• Those opportunities presented
• Help received
• Money given
• Time off awarded
• Praise
• Compliments
• and anything else that comes your way.

I recall in one of the books I have read about "Strengthening the Receiving Muscle", which caused some chuckles at dinner and I may not fully remember the context correctly or even the quote but I'm sure the sentiment is this:

To be great at anything you have to practice. Therefore to be good at receiving you have to practice. Stretch that receiving muscle, do your warm ups, practice, practice practice and then when you are called upon to receive you'll be in the best place mentally, pysically and emotionally to receive all that is coming your way.

And that's no bad thing, because, you see, you asked for it to come your way in the first place.

I'll sign off now but one of the greatest ways I can think to practice receiving is to remember to say thanks. To say thanks, out loud, sometimes to no one in particular for everything big or small I receive.

Oprah and The Secret

Hi all, if you are big Oprah fans or big "The Secret" fans or both, then watch out on the 31st January.

Oprah will be hosting the cast of the movie The Secret.

I can only imagine that it is going to be a great show. More importantly it will do a huge service in getting the message about the law of attraction out to a much wider and globally diverse audience.

I may not be an ardent Oprah viewer but I would hate to miss this one.

Time to act

If you stopped by for yesterdays post and it intrigued you to start looking at ways to make money from the internet, I know of 3 ways.

1 - Create an Adwords or Overture account and create ads to drive people to your affiliate marketing links. You don't even need a website for this method, just an email account.

2 - Create a website or websites. There's tons of information on "how to" and "what to focus on" on the web. Then host adverts, run affiliate programs, sell products or do all three. As I pointed out yesterday, one of my favorite subjects is the law of attraction and if you too share this passion and would like to make money promoting ways to educate, then Bob Doyle has the program for you.

or 3 - Start writing your own blog and do the same as in 2 above.

My friend Mike over at Twenty Steps has some great information for you if you decide to act to increase your passive income with internet related activities.

This guy has just co-authored a book with Donald Trump so his popularity is growing every day and as you know, popularity leades to searches and searches lead to links and some of those links might just lead to you and your bank account.

A New Year - A new Me - New Money Opportunities

Now that 2007 is well under way and the Christmas and holiday season is well behind us, I have finally found the time to update my blog. I'm going to attempt to be more up to date and write shorter more regular posts. Hopefully even, on a daily basis.
